GO-KARTING DIVISION
This year Stewart has taken on the role of class
representative for the Sr. Animal/ 4 Stroke Class at CKRC any meeting
dates, meeting notes, race updates, class gatherings will be posted on
this site below.
Last meeting was on March 29, 2008
The following was addressed:
 | 1) Starting 2008 the Animal Class will be
running alcohol (the option to run gas still available with weight
break) |
| 2) The weight remains at 350lbs kart and
driver for Animals, 330 for Hondas and Flatheads-Potential option for
heavier memebers (Stewart, Todd and Terry to test in 2008 to find best
possible option) |
| 3) 2007 Rules still in effect as far as motor,
rod rules etc. |
| 4) Possible tire deal in 2009 (Stewart and
Todd to test Hoosier tires in 2008) |
| 5) Rules for WKA and Class specific rule will
be given to the class members as well as the club. |
| 6) Point system reamins the same, points for
Heat 1, 2 and Final (Qual, Pre-Qual, Final) |
| 7) Set up a few nights this season for a meet
and greet, test and tune social event. TBA |
| 8) Class would like to possibly arrange an
Edmonton race for the class, opportunity to explore other race track.

| 9) Class is urged to find sponsorship whether
it be hats or mugs for each race day to make class more appealing. |
